part 5

6 months gone by,
Gim saved up enough money for the 3ds system but he held back, there was a monster

hunter camping trip and he signed up with ah siang together with Ah Yung and Ah

Hong.
"Hey guys, this camping trip is going to be great." said ah Hong
"just you wait, I'm gonna beat you guyz on the Gramadasaurus map!"
they grabed their gear and took a bus to the outskirts of Malacca. Ah siang has

been in those parts of the forest so they know their way around the campsite.
after trekking into the depths of the forest for about an hour, they set up camp.
"Pretty sight for the campsite eh" exclaimed ah Yung as he gazed at their camp spot

with flourished trees surrounded and open area nearby a stream that leads to a

fall.
"Woah! the sound of the stream is already helping me relax and prepare for my next

battle" Said Ah Hong
"Well let's setup camp, it's going to be dark soon" Said Ah Siang
so Gim helps pitched the tent, Ah siang sets up the fire pit and both ah Yung and

Ah Hong scour the area for fresh water ,food or logs and sticks and make sure it's

safe from wild animals and any imminent danger.
Then night falls and they gather round the campfire
"Marshmallow?" as Gim ruffles trough his bag and pulls out a bag.
"Sure, give one here on the stick!" Ah Siang said
so Gim pokes one onto his stick.
"there, one nice and fluffy marshmallow"
As they sit around the roaring campfire Ah Yung began " well this is swell, we're

just missing out some fine girls for company"
"HAHAHA" everyone laughed
as their marshmallows roasted on the open fire, Ah Siang began
"It's nice to have all of you guys on board the team, Monster hunter team would be boring otherwise"
Ah Yung replied "Cheers!" as he touched the rest's sticks with his.
"Well there was once, trifunesaurus was chasing me in my dream. whoah that was quite an experience when i dogded it left and right. then when it got its horn stuck on the tree, i quickly ran, into the forest and hid behind a giant rock."
"Just then I dreamed 2 pro hunters came from behind and quickly head towards the direction of the Monster""moments later, there was a large growl as it appears the hunters have engaged the monster. and that's when i woke up"

Part 4

"Good Try! you're pretty good for a first timer!Perhaps, there is a position you'd be interested in."
"seriously? I'm very interested in working for you!" said Gim enthusiastically.
"You'd have to agree to keep a low profile, as with all organizations, what we do is strictly confidential."
On that note, Gim was whisked away to the counter where the storekeeper pulled up an employment form for Gim.
Gim filled them up with much gusto
"then I'll see you here tomorrow" said the storekeeper as he whisked Gim out.
"Well done! now you're part of the team" exclaimed ah siang as the high fived Gim.
"I hope i'll be useful to the team then, well see you, i've got to head back now that my dad will probably be looking for me"
"see you then"
Gim rushed off with high spirits that day as he headed back to the bus stop where his dad was waiting.
"Well, seems like club activities have done you some good!" commented Gim's dad as Gim got into the car.
"Yeah, I got into a club with Ah Siang, we're both very excited about what we can do for the club!"
"Sounds like you are having fun, hope that's good!"
"Yeah we're going to have lots of fun in this club!"
They both drove home with lifted spirits that day.

Part 3

As Gim fervently waits for his dad in the wake of zooming cars in front of him,
he noticed a calico cat meowing about on the road toying with an empty carton of cigarette. he begins to wander the kind of battles Ah Kit and his group of friends are having while he stares blankly into space.
"I'm gonna get myself a 3ds one of these days" Gim thought to himself.
and with that determination, he was more and more moved to make a change in his life,
" dad, can you come in the evenings at 6, I'll be having several extracuricullar activities for the chinese club i joined"
" Since when did you joined that club? I guess it's ok since i'll be free to rush that project near The football field."

The next day, after school, Gim set off to mid valley to look for a part time promoter job. he stumbled across a Games store.
"Sir!Limited edition GTA5 with keychain and joystick Now in stock, hurry hurry hurry!"
"eh? AH Siang?"
"Gim?! what are you doing here?"
"Looking for a part time job"
"really ah? your rich dad won't complain ah?"
"hahaha, Is this place hiring?" said Gim as he sweats from hearing ah Siang's last comment.
"of course, we're looking for dedicated individuals, do you really like games?"
"The latest installment of Monster hunter 4 has been on my mind for some time now"
the storekeeper saw them and said"Hmph, we'll see how well you do, first you have to beat me to the first monster of the quest, I can lend you a 3ds to see if you're a natural"
And with that Gim was swept off his feet to fend his honor though he had not played a single game before
With the tension rising, they linked off and started venturing towards the Bulbarhino's map.
As Gim familiarized himself with his character and the saw balde weapon he picked for himself, he started admiring himself as he chop down several small spawns.
"Found you, Bulbarhino!" The storekeeper exclaimed!
Gim hurriedly rushed his character over to the designated map for the battle engagement.
Gim swung his saw blade here and there, nipping bit by bit the mob boss' tail while it engages the storekeeper's  shield and spear.
Bulbarhino Swished its tail and flung Gim away to the corner of the map as he rolled and patted on the dirt.
"hahaha, don't be so careless"
Gim quickly regained his footing and panted his warrior towards the creature.
And there Gim found himself, facing the big, ugly and terrorizing mob, face to face.
just as Gim's steady swing of his charged up saw blade was about to strike the monster's head, it nudged gim to the ground and escaped into the wild beyond.

As Gim Slumped down towards his chair, he looked at the time thinking to himself
"How am I suppose to enjoy my youth when it is at its prime?"
on that note he took out a foolscap paper and scribled some notes and sketch a

caricature of the latest video game character to ease himself off some parental

tension.

The next day, Gim enters the classroom with rejuvenated spirits as he approached

his friend with great anticipation to borrow a video game from his friend.
"AH Kit, Did you bring it? your 3ds With MH4?"
"Yeah of course, how could i forget the weekly Monster Hunter 4 meetup to beat up

Tigrex Extreme"
Gim attended the rest of the classes that day with dampening spirits.
"Gim! can you solve this question?""Gim! are you on the same page?" "Gim! where

are you looking?" were shots made by the multitude of teachers that day.
As the day ended, Gim took an envious Gaze at the 4 jovial boys who were preparing

for the time of their lives at the corner of the classroom as he exited.

"anty! Tousa roti pau satu!" shouted Gim as he straddled towards the cafeteria looking solemnly depressed.
"boy, bapak lewat lagi ke?"
"ya , dia memang banyak kerja masa ini"

once again Gim walked off towards his bus stop with a tousa pau in his hand to his mouth.

New Life, New Goal, New focus.

I'm beginning a new journey. A journey i can't explain yet must be gone through. soon what's life of mine will be what will be .I'm also starting to write for the current living situations in Malaysia.

This is the first phase of the short story:
I'd like to share with you a story of a standard 4 student
let's call him Gim Kut
His father is a constructor
After school Gim always finds himself by the school bus waiting alone because his other friends has been picked up by their parents and school buses earlier

and he just sits there staring at the endless passage of cars through the highway as he await his loving fater or mother to come and get him home.

The wait was always long winded. as he wait and wait his stomach growled and he finds himself wandering to the school cafeteria which just happened to close, and he howled to them" tunggu, boleh jual sikit roti kepada saya, lapar lah" but the tauke said" dah tutup dah, pergi lah lain tempat." " anty tolonglah, i saya akan tangung GST atas roti pau tu" And the aunty look at him with pitied eyes and said" Sudahlah lewat ni, belum balik lagi ke?" "Belum anty, Bapa saya kerja lewat lagi, terpaksalah saya makan roti untuk petang ni lagi"
"Kesiannya, naiklah bas sekolah sama sama kawan kawan yang lain kan senang?"
"aduhai anty, memang dah diberitahu kat ayah, tapi tiada bas yang berjalan sebegitu jauh."
"oh, begitu rupanya, saya kena tutup kedai ni, you jaga dirilah, boy!"
" terima Kasih, anty"
As Gim strolled away towards the bus stand with one hand holding a red bean bun to his mouth, he wondered if things could change for him one day.

Hoping for a change in his life, Gim urge his father to allow him to work part time to save up for the latest Video game in store.
"No! absolutely not!" said his dad " Your performance in school is still too low for you to have any additional activities!"
"but dad, THe latest game is on sale, GTA 5 and everyone is talking about it"
"No buts, no means no, Untill your performance in school is satisfactory, i won't have you talking anymore nonsense of games"

And with that note, Gim stradled his head low and walk lowly to his room.
tired and fatigue he looked at his report card on his table.
" what's wrong with these results" said to himself. I'll bet many people score these marks"
